The School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPAV), established in 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, is a prestigious autonomous institution under the SPA Act 2014. As one of the three Schools of Planning and Architecture recognized as Institutes of National Importance, SPAV excels in the fields of Planning and Architecture through quality education and research.

SPAV offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs focused on developing skills to tackle physical, socio-economic, and environmental challenges. Scholarships available at School of Planning and Architecture Vijayawada

The School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada (SPAV), is committed to supporting its students through various scholarship programs aimed at promoting academic excellence and providing financial assistance. These scholarships are designed to cater to the diverse needs of the student community, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder educational pursuits.

Merit and Merit-cum-Means Scholarships:
SPAV offers scholarships based on merit and merit-cum-means criteria across its programs:

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch): Total intake of 75 students with 2 merit-based and 7 merit-cum-means scholarships.
  
  
• Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan): Total intake of 30 students with 1 merit-based and 3 merit-cum-means scholarships.
  
  
• Master of Architecture (M.Arch) and Master of Planning (M.Plan): Each program has a total intake of 20 students, offering 2 merit-based and 2 merit-cum-means scholarships.

Eligibility for merit-cum-means scholarships requires a gross annual family income not exceeding ₹3,00,000. Additionally, students must not be recipients of any other scholarships or stipends from other sources. 

Central Sector Scholarship Scheme for SC and ST Students:
The Government of India sanctions scholarships under the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top-Class Education for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students. Eligible students can apply through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) with the necessary documents. 

Jagananna Vasathi/Vidya Deevena Scholarships:
The Government of Andhra Pradesh offers the Jagananna Vasathi Deevena and Jagananna Vidya Deevena scholarships to support eligible students. The registration process for fresh and renewal scholarships is conducted through the Jnanabhumi portal.

Application Process:
Students are required to apply for these scholarships through the respective online portals, such as the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) or the Jnanabhumi portal, depending on the specific scholarship scheme. It is essential to adhere to the application deadlines and provide all necessary documentation to ensure successful scholarship applications.
