Sri Venkateswara University

Sri Venkateswara University (SVU), established in 1954 in Tirupati, has been serving the educational needs of the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh. Over its 68 years of excellence, it has grown into one of the largest universities in the state, offering a broad range of postgraduate programs across disciplines such as Arts, Sciences, Engineering, Law, Management, Pharmacy, and Education. Scholarships available at Sri Venkateswara University

The university offers various scholarship opportunities to support meritorious and deserving students. For students achieving outstanding academic performance, scholarships are based on qualifying examination marks. Those scoring 95% or more are eligible for a 100% scholarship for the first year or two semesters, excluding examination fees. Students with marks between 85% and 95% receive a 25% scholarship, while those with 75% to 85% are granted a 15% scholarship on the first-year course fee. Students with marks between 60% and 75% will receive a 10% scholarship on their first-year course fee.

The university also offers sports-based scholarships. Students who have represented India at the international level can avail a 100% scholarship (excluding examination fees) throughout the course. National-level athletes are eligible for a 25% scholarship each year, while state-level participants receive a 15% scholarship. Those who have competed at the zonal level and won prizes are entitled to a 10% scholarship annually.

Additionally, scholarships are available for the dependents of defense personnel, with a 10% discount on course fees for their family members. Girls and differently-abled students with over 45% disability are also eligible for a 10% scholarship throughout their course, subject to valid certification.
