Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Vishvavidyalaya

Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Vishvavidyalaya is a modern university set in a rural environment, dedicated to imparting value-based education enriched with spiritual principles. It was founded under the guidance of His Holiness Krishnaguru Prabhu, who established a Sewashram in 1974 at Nasatra, Barpeta, Assam. To promote education, he initiated the Krishnaguru Siksha Parishad, which set up a vernacular school in 1986 and a high school in 1987—both later taken over by the Government of Assam.

In 1992, the organization established Krishnaguru Mahavidyalaya, followed by a modern English school in 1994. Expanding further, Krishnaguru Siksha Parishad founded the College of Science & Technology in 2009. The culmination of these efforts led to the establishment of Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Vishvavidyalaya in 2017, following the passage of a bill in the Assam Assembly.

Dedicated cells within the university, such as the OBC Cell, Minority Cell, and SC/ST Cell, actively inform and guide students from respective communities about available scholarship programs and financial aid opportunities.
