Scholarships available at Assam Don Bosco University

Don Bosco University (DBU) offers several scholarship opportunities to support students based on economic status, disability, and sporting achievements.

For students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, DBU provides scholarships ranging from ₹10,000 per semester for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including B.Tech, BBA, BCom, and more. These scholarships are available for students with a gross family income of less than ₹2,00,000 annually.

For students with disabilities, DBU offers ₹10,000 per semester for all graduate and postgraduate programs, provided they hold a Disability Certificate from the Government of India.

The university also recognizes the achievements of sportspersons from North East India with a tuition fee waiver scheme. The scholarship, totaling ₹16,40,000, supports students who have represented their state in major sporting events, with amounts based on their course and academic performance.

Additionally, DBU assists students in availing government scholarships and provides ₹7.77 crores in total scholarship assistance. Faculty members pursuing PhDs are also supported with an annual scholarship of ₹10,000.
