Scholarships available at Royal Global University

Royal Global University (RGU) offers several scholarships to help students pursue their educational goals with financial assistance. Among these, the Royal Merit - On Admission Scholarship is one of the prominent offerings for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs. Scholarships range from 25% to 100% of the annual fees, based on the student’s performance in their previous exams. For example, students with an aggregate of 88% and above in their qualifying exams can receive up to 100% fee coverage. However, students availing these scholarships must pay caution money and the full hostel or transportation fees, if applicable.

In addition to merit-based scholarships, RGU also offers the Royal Endowment Scholarship, targeting students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, single-parent families, and those excelling in sports or arts. It also supports differently-abled students and children of awardees like Padma Awardees. For students from Northeast India, RGU provides a Royal Suraksha Scholarship for the children of serving or retired military, paramilitary, and police personnel.

Another significant scholarship is the Hope for Manipur Scholarship, which offers a 100% waiver of the admission fee for students from families affected by violence in Manipur. This scholarship is aimed at providing financial relief to those who need it the most due to the socio-political challenges in the region.

To maintain these scholarships for subsequent years, students must ensure a minimum of 75% attendance and clear all exams. The final decision on awarding scholarships rests with the University’s Scholarship Committee, ensuring a fair and transparent process for all students.
