Scholarships available at DIT University

DIT University takes pride in fostering merit and academic excellence by offering a range of scholarships to support students in their educational pursuits. The scholarships available include:

A. Merit-Based Scholarships

For UG programs, scholarships are awarded based on marks at admission or CGPA for subsequent years. Top 10% students in each program receive tuition fee waivers of 30%, 20%, or 10%, provided they clear all subjects in one attempt without any disciplinary actions.

B. Uttarakhand/Himalayan States Scholarship

Permanent residents of Uttarakhand and other Himalayan states receive a 26% tuition fee waiver, valid for all UG/PG programs, subject to domicile certification.

C. Shri Naveen Agarwal Ji Scholarship for Girls

Girl students scoring 80%+ in X and XII standards receive a 10% tuition waiver in UG programs, renewable annually with a CGPA of 8.5 or above.

D. Scholarships for Children of Defence Personnel

Children of serving, retired, or martyr defence personnel receive a 5% tuition waiver in UG programs. Certification of service or awards is required.

E. Sports Scholarships

Awarded for international, national, and state-level participation, based on certificates verified during admission.

F. Additional Scholarships

Scholarships are also available for siblings, differently-abled students, orphans, single mothers’ children, and DIT University alumni pursuing higher studies.

Terms and Conditions:

Students must meet academic and conduct requirements for scholarship continuation. Documents must be verified, and the total scholarships cannot exceed the tuition fee.
