Scholarships available at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research

The most prominent among these is the INSPIRE Scholarship, provided by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), which offers ₹5,000 per month to BS-MS students who meet the eligibility criteria. PhD students are eligible for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowships (SRF) through CSIR, UGC, and other national agencies, often receiving stipends between ₹31,000 and ₹35,000 per month.
